Pure Paste: Paste as plain text, automatically in macOS

Authors

When we copy-paste text, it keeps the formatting as it is. This causes formatting issues because the document might be in a different format altogether.

That's where Pure Paste comes in.

It's a lightweight free tool by Sindre Sorhorus that sits in your menubar and automatically removes formatting whenever you copy something. You can toggle it on/off easily.

Setting up is straightforward as well.

You just need to install it and do a one-time setup.

And that's it. It'll take care of the rest going forward 🤖

I've configured ⌘ + P using Hyperkey to easily toggle Pure Paste on/off

Happy pure paste!
